Spring Time!

This weather has been absolutely amazing!  We've had 60-70+ degree days all of January!  We play outside almost everyday and rarely have to wear coats!  I am totally rubbing it in for all your northerners :0)  We had a very relaxing weekend, going to the park, grabbing lunch, searching for Skylanders, and just enjoying family time together!

Cole is learning so fast and this has got to be one of the best ages/stages!  He picks up everything and loves to mimic Luke.  He still loves music, dancing, and singing and has some pretty good rythym (he gets that from me, haha).  I love that Luke is such a great big brother!  He is extremely helpful with Cole and hates when his brother is upset.  He talks to Cole all the time and gives him a hug and kiss everynight before bed.  He also likes to "wrestle"/"tackle" him, which sometimes goes too far, but Cole usually can handle it. 

Luke loves riding his new bike and is already standing up while pedaling and riding over the curb.  He's fallen three times, and only once was there tears.  Even then, he brushed himself off and got right back on.  I'm so proud of him.  Although he sometimes gets frustrated, he understands that you have to practice to get better at things and he is willing to do it.  We've been playing a lot of the Wii lately, and it's a lot of fun because we all play as a family.  Luke starts golf lessons in a few weeks!  It's a group class with 4 other kids ages 3-5.  We are so excited for him and can't wait to watch him learn and play :)

Ben reads books to Luke every night before bed.  Cole also loves being read to, and will sometimes actually sit through a whole story.  We decided to let him sit in with Daddy and his big brother the other night.  It went well, but I think we will wait a little while until we do it on a regular basis!
